Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has expressed deep sense of grief on the demise of Anthony Obi.
A statement signed on Tuesday by his Chief Press Secretary,Onyebuchi Ememanka in Umuahia, the State Capital described the late Obi as an officer and a gentleman whose career in the Nigerian Army witnessed several successes.
The statement urged the family to find strength in the purposeful life he lived and in his indelible contributions to the nation.
The Deceased was the Military Administrator of the State between August 1998 to May 29th 1999 and died on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at the age of 70.
