At least 26 people have been killed after an earthquake hit western Afghanistan.
The Spokesman for the province Baz Sarwary who disclosed this said victims died when roofs of their houses collapsed on Monday in Qadis district in the western province of Badghis,
Sarwary disclosed that five women and four children are among the 26 people killed in the earthquake, adding that four more people were injured.
The Spokesman noted that the tremors were felt across the province, adding that some homes in the provincial capital suffered cracks but no major injuries or widespread damage
