Police arrest Seven-Man Armed Robbery Syndicate in Ogun

Ogun State Police Command has arrested seven members of a syndicate who specialized in hijacking trucks along Sagamu-Ijebu-Ode Expressway.

This was confirmed on Tuesday in a statement signed by the State’s Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi.

The statement revealed that the suspects were nabbed following a distress call received at Odogbolu Divisional Headquarters of the state.

Reacting to the arrest, the  State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, ordered the transfer of the suspects to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence
