Osun Government Assures Residents of Peace in the State

Osun State government has warned residents to put an end to acts capable of threatening the peace the state.

The State Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Funke Egbemode, maintained that the state government will not fold its hands and watch criminal elements unleash terror on law-abiding citizens of the state.

Egbemode noted that security operatives have moved into communities to ensure that there is no further breakdown of law and order.

Recall, that at least five people lost their lives and many injured during a clash between two rival gangs and land grabbers at Ilesa.
