NYSC Restates Commitment Towards Prioritizing Welfare of Corps Members

The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has said it would continue to prioritize the welfare of corps members.

NYSC Deputy Director Press and Public Relations, Emeka Mgbemena, said this in reaction to a report that corps members suffer poor healthcare and bear the cost of their treatment.

Mgbemena assured that the NYSC will not shun its responsibility of seeing to the welfare of corps members, adding that the Corps is always open to inquiries whenever the need arises.
