The Federal Government has promised to provide more equipment for the Nigerian armed forces to curb insecurity in the country.
Minister of Defence, Bashir Magashi, made this known at the 2021 Army Headquarters Garrison West African Social Activities, WASA, in Abuja.
Magashi, commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his continuous support for internal security operations engaged by the armed forces, stressing that by the support of the Federal Government, the ministry has continued to strive relentlessly.
The minister thanked the officers and soldiers for their sacrifices towards ensuring peace in the country.
