Umahi Suspends SEMA Secretary

Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi has ordered the indefinite suspension of the executive secretary of the State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA.

A statement signed by the secretary to the state government Kenneth Ugbala, said Ken Eze was suspended for negligence of duty.

The statement noted that Eze exhibited negligence of duty which prompted the expiration of relief materials worth millions of naira under his care.

It directed Eze to hand over all government property in his possession with immediate effect.
