Aregbesola Urges Governors to Invest in Firefighting

The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, has called on state governors to investment in firefighting.

Aregbesola made the call at the Pull-Out Ceremony of the Retired Controller General of the Federal Fire Service, Liman Alhaji, on Thursday, in Abuja.

He urged the Federal Government to review the law prohibiting bush burning and the mechanism for its enforcement in the country.

The Minister implored the Federal Fire Service to intensify efforts at collaborating with other relevant security agencies.
