The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU says that only two of its eight demands have been met by the Federal Government in the last nine months.
The Ibadan Zone of the Union made this known in a statement issued yesterday by its coordinator, Prof. Oyebamiji Oyegoke after its meeting at Ibadan the state capital.
The statement revealed that only salary shortfall and setting up of visitation panels to the Federal Government-owned Universities have been addressed by the government.
It stated that other demands such as the renegotiation of conditions of service, injection of revitalization funds, payment of earned academic allowances, amongst others have not been addressed, adding that the educational system would be engulfed in another crisi
