Ogun Government Shuts Schools Over Installation of New Oba

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has ordered all schools in Ijebu-Igbo and its environs be shut down on Wednesday over the installation of a new Orimolusi, Lawrence Adebajo.

A statement signed on Monday by the Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, disclosed that all academic activities be halted on Wednesday as a mark of honour for the new Monarch.

The statement added that the action was done to allow teachers, parents, and students to participate in the event.
