INEC insists on Bimodal voter Accreditation System for Election

Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC says electronic authentication of voter’s identity using its Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS, is compulsory in the forth coming  Governorship Election in Anambra State.

INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu disclosed this today during the commission’s third quarterly meeting with political parties in Abuja.

Yakubu assured newly registered voters in the State, and those who applied for replacement of damaged or lost PVCs that their cards will be printed and made available to them for collection before the election.
