D’Tigress Zoom into 2021 Afro Basket semi-finals
Nigeria’s D’Tigress are through to the semifinals of the ongoing 2021 women’s Afro Basket after beating Cote d’Ivoire 72-56 in their quarter-final match in Yaoundé on Thursday.

It is the defending champions’ third consecutive semifinals at the Afro basket women’s Championships.

D’Tigress had a healthy 24 points lead going into the 4th quarter, but Ivory Coast almost fought their way back in the match, reducing the deficit to just 13 points with over four minutes left to play.

Nigeria will now play the winner of the tie between Senegal and Mozambique today.
