Abubakar calls for recruitment of Security personnel’s

Former Head of State, Abdulsalami Abubakar, has called on federal government for the recruitment of more personnel into the security agencies to tackle the challenges in the country.

Abubakar, while addressing newsmen in Minna, Niger State ahead of the 61st Independence anniversary of the nation, said equipping the security agencies with modern tools will pave way to tackle insecurity in the country.

He commended the security forces for the sacrifice they have made in the fight against insurgency, armed banditry, and other forms of insecurity.

On the occasion of the independence anniversary, the former Nigerian Leader maintained that the country has attained a milestone that deserves to be celebrated, adding that Nigeria would remain an indivisible nation despite its numerous challenges.
