Uzodinma Swears In Acting Chief Judge

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma has sworn in the new acting Chief Judge of the state, Justice Theresa Chikeka.

The swearing-in ceremony was held on Thursday at the Government House in Owerri, the state capital.

In his remarks, Uzodinma stressed the need to encourage the judiciary to preserve itself from divisiveness.

The Governor, however, noted that any bastardization of the institution will erode the confidence of the people with serious consequences on the survival of the nation’s democracy.
