INEC Expresses Readiness for Ngor-Okpala Bye-election

Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has expressed readiness to conduct Bye- Election for NgorOkpala State Constituency on Saturday in Imo State.
In an interview with Boss Radio, the Head of Department, Voters Education and Publicity, Ben Okpara states that the electoral materials are ready for the bye-election.

According to Okpara, only eligible voters can exercise their franchise.

He assured the electorate of adequate security.

Recall, the State House of Assembly had declared the seat vacant citing the inability of the former occupant, Tochi Okereke, to perform his legislative duties.
