United States President Imposes New Sanctions on Russia

Unite States President, Joe Biden has announced a new sanctions package against Russia.
President Biden while giving a speech on Tuesday, condemned his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin’s decision to recognize the independence of Luhansk and Donetsk.
According to Biden, the sanctions target Russia’s sovereign debt as well as two large Russian financial institutions, including the country’s military bank.
The US President noted that Russia’s government would be cut off from Western financing if it goes further with the invasion.
