President Muhammadu Buhari has sent condolences to the government of Zambia over the death of the country’s former President Rupiah Banda.
This was contained in a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.
The statement commended the stewardship and statesmanship of Banda, who handed over power in 2011, urging leaders and citizens to always allow democracy to win.
It, however, prayed for the repose of his soul.
