The al-Qaeda-linked armed group al-Shabab has said it was behind the attack on the camp near Mogadishu airport.
An al-Shabab spokesman, Abdiasis Musab, revealed that the group’s fighters had gained entry to the base and inflicted casualties, but did not provide any evidence.
