Former President Goodluck Jonathan has been appointed as a member of the International Advisory Board of the European Corporate Council on Africa and the Middle East, ECAM Council.
A statement issued by his special adviser, Ikechukwu Eze, stated that Jonathan will be attending this year’s ECAM Council’s high-level advisory board meeting in Italy on 30th May.
The former President becomes the first African sub-Saharan African leader to be appointed into the ECAM council.
The Council is a non-profit organization established with the purpose of promoting and developing relations between the countries of Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the North Africa region.
