Uzodinma directs appointees with political ambition to resign

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma has directed political appointees vying for elective positions in 2023 to resign before May 16.
Uzodimma gave the directive at the expanded State Exco meeting on Wednesday.
He directed such appointees to tender their resignation letters on or before the said date.
This comes hours after President Muhammadu Buhari ordered Ministers seeking elective offices to resign on or before May 16.
