Lawan harps on the need to diversify Nigeria’s economy

The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, has harped on the need for the country to create wealth and diversify its economy.
Lawan made this known while addressing delegates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Calabar, the Cross River State capital.
He maintained that the country needs to create wealth and employment opportunities, adding that Nigeria cannot continue to depend only on oil, hence the need for diversification.
The Senate President stressed the need to invest in education; as it is the foundation of the development of every country.
