Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, busted an illegal fuel dump site in Eket Local Government Area of the state, and arrested two suspected oil thieves.
A statement issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Ekerette Friday, said it seized 130 drums loaded with illegally refined diesel.
The statement noted that the suspects were using the illegal site to store Diesel and Dual Purpose Kerosene for distribution to various parts of the state.
It reiterated the commitment of the Commandant General of the Corps to end the menace of oil theft, illegal bunkering and adulteration in the country.
