INEC Reveals Number of Unclaimed PVCs in Anambra

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has revealed that at least 132,623 Permanent Voter Cards are yet to be claimed in the 21 local government areas in Anambra state.

INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in the State, Queen Agwu, made the revelation at the INEC headquarters in Awka, the State capital.

Agwu urged voters who have not collected their PVCs to go and pick their PVCs, while the new batch of PVCs from the recent voter registration exercise was still being expected.

The Commissioner, who noted that the collation of PVCs in the state had been extended to Saturday and Sunday, called for enough security for the commission to carry its function.
