Gunmen Attack Operatives of Anambra Vigilante Services

Reports say gunmen have attacked and killed four operatives of the Anambra State Vigilante Services and also set five buildings ablaze.

Spokesman of the State police command, Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the incident, adding that the reason for the attack could not be ascertained.

Ikenga revealed that police operatives were alerted and when they arrived at the scene, one of the gunmen was killed by police operatives when they were confronted.

The incident happened in Ihiala Local Government Area of the State on Thursday.
