The Imo State Police Command, on Thursday, announced its operatives have rescued the immediate past chairman of the Imo State Council of Traditional Rulers, Samuel Ohiri, from his Kidnappers.
Recall , Ohiri was kidnapped from his residence in Orodo Mbaitoli Local Government Area of the state and taken away by some unknown gunmen on Saturday, January 6.
While speaking to news men the state Police Public Relations Officer, Henry Okoye,confirmed his release, which he attributed to the swift response of the command’s Special Tactical teams, in synergy with the military and other security agencies.
