Leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, from Edo South Senatorial District in Abuja have endorsed the nomination of Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama as running mate to the governorship candidate of the party, Monday Okpebholo, ahead of the September 21, 2024 polls in the State.
The APC Chieftains gave their nod at a critical meeting on Thursday night in Abuja with former governorship aspirants and stakeholders from the Southern part of Edo State in attendance.
Ogbeide-Ihama had served as member of the House of Representatives on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, before he defected to the APC.
