Some personnel of the Nigerian Army have lamented the delay in the processing of the payment of their operational allowances for the months of January, February and March 2024.
One of the officers who preferred not to be mentioned disclosed today that, soldiers, navy and the policemen in Operation Hadarin Daji in Zamfara had not been paid for three months.
The source also lamented they were being fed with bad meals, noting that their rice contained stones.
Recall that the army had in January dismissed claims of alleged poor feeding and nonpayment of allowances for the month of December 2023 of troops from the division deployed to Zamfara State.
