In a recent TV interview with, the singer expressed frustration over fans frequently comparing her to new female artists, claiming these new artistes are trying to take her throne.
Savage emphasized that she views music as collaborative rather than a competitive space, and makes an effort to befriend emerging female artists rather than see them as rivals
Savage also confronted allegations of lack of support on her part for female artists, pointing out her numerous collaborations with other female musicians, including Simi, Waje, Ayra Starr, and Becca, to demonstrate her commitment to uplifting women in the industry.
