The Chief of Defence Staff, Lucky Irabor, has said no Local Government Area in Nigeria is under the control of Boko Haram and the Islamic State West Africa Province terrorists.
Irabor made this known at the 21st Century Chronicle Roundtable on Wednesday in Abuja.
He noted that the security challenges in the country had been politicized, stressing that the politicization of the military approach became so profound that the good intentions of the military were skewed.
The Chief blamed the insecurity in the country on the Libyan crisis, which according to him, led to the free flow of arms through Nigeria’s porous borders.
