INEC Reacts to Umahi’s Sack as Governor

Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has reacted to the court ruling that sacked Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State.

INEC’s National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye, said the electoral umpire was yet to receive copies of the judgment from the court.

Okoye disclosed that INEC would take action against Umahi after receiving certified documents from the court ruling.
