Bayelsa State House of Assembly has approved a N30 Billion naira loan request by Governor Douye Diri.
The House gave express approval for the loan after the clerk read the Governor’s letter during plenary session.
The letter stated that the money will be used for the ongoing three senatorial roads, and other major projects in the state.
It added that part of the loan will also be used to kick start the Nembe/Brass road which has been on the drawing board for many decades.
