Akwa Ibom government orders closure of school over suspected cult clash

Akwa Ibom State government has ordered the closure of Community Comprehensive Secondary School, Aka Offot, in Uyo Local Government Area of the state.
According to the state Commissioner for Education, Idongesit Etiebet, this came as a suspected cultist, stabbed a Secondary School 2 student, to death.
The commissioner, ordered that the institution be shut to enable the State Secondary Education Board and the Ministry of Education wade into the matter and restore calm.
