Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has urged that new Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 5 Command Headquarters, Lawan Jimeta, to address border issues with Delta State.
Obaseki made the appeal when he received Jimeta at the Government House, in Benin, the state capital.
He noted that the new AIG is not new to security issues in the state as he was among the team that designed the security architecture in the State.
The Governor implored the new AIG, to join forces with the state government to resolve communal clashes and land disputes in the state.
