The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, says it has constituted a task force committee against the acute petroleum scarcity in the country.
A statement issued on Monday, by the Chairman of IPMAN, Kano State zone, Bashir Dan-Mallam, disclosed that the committee, in collaboration with Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, will check hoarding of the commodity at filling stations.
The statement warned that any marketer found culpable of hoarding the product would be sanctioned, adding that IPMAN would not allow some devious elements within its fold to inflict hardship on innocent Nigerians.
