The Federal Government has hinted on introducing censorship laws and regulatory framework for Over-The-Top (OTT) streaming services and content providers in Nigeria.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed represented by the Director, Information and Technology, Comfort Ajiboye, during a two-day conference organized by the National Film and Video Censors Board, NFVCB in Lagos State.
The Minister stressed that the increased demand for streaming services in Nigeria grew amid the pandemic.
