NCDC Reports New Cases of Omicron Variant

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has announced three additional cases of the Omicron variant in Nigeria.

Confirming the cases, NCDC Director-General, Ifedayo Adetifa revealed that the three additional cases were detected in passengers linked to South Africa in November.

Adetifa said the new cases bring the total of the recently discovered variant of the COVID-19 virus to six.
