The Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, has seized a tanker laden with 36,000 liters of adulterated diesel in Anambra State.
A statement issued by the spokesperson of the Corps, Edwin Okadigbo, disclosed that the driver of the tanker, Abdulraman Ahmed, was arrested at Ihiala in Ihiala Local Government Area of the state.
The statement noted that the NSCDC had received intelligence report about the activities of a syndicate involved in the distribution of adulterated diesel.
It added that the Commandant directed that Ahmed be taken to the Command’s Investigation and Intelligence Department for investigation and prosecution.
