Niger State Police Command has urged parents to prevail on their children to avoid any act of public disturbance during the Yuletide.
A statement signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Wasiu Abiodun, revealed that anyone causing public disturbance would be dealt with.
The statement maintained that the ban on the use of fireworks, knockouts, bangers and other explosive devices still stands.
It added that an operation order has been issued to Area Commanders, Tactical Commanders and Deputy Police Officers on security measures in their respective areas for peaceful conduct during the festivities.
