PDP calls for more attention to welfare of Soldiers

The People’s Democratic Party, PDP has saluted members of the Nigerian Armed Forces for their courage and sacrifice in defending the Nation.

A statement issued on Saturday by the National Publicity Secretary of the Party, Debo Ologunagba commemorating the Armed Forces Remembrance Day, the Party asked for the provision of adequate equipment for the military.

The statement noted that the Party acknowledges the bravery and patriotism of the gallant soldiers in the frontlines, who, despite the daunting challenges, pay the supreme price for the unity and security of our country.

It urged the government to ensure the wellbeing of the families of the fallen heroes and called on Nigerians to support and pray for the armed forces in their task of protecting the country.
