Imo State Police Command says it has discovered camps of criminals and recovered improvised explosive devices, vehicles, arms and ammunition.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Command’s Pubic Relations Officer, Mike Abattam and made available to newsmen in Owerri, the state capital.
The statement noted that the raid followed credible information that some criminals had made a forest at Onicha in Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area of the state, their operational base.
It, however, implored Imolites not to allow criminals use their community as safe haven to perpetrate crimes.
