NYSC raises alarm over poor infrastructure in orientation camps

The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has raised concerns over the poor state of infrastructure at its orientation camps nationwide.

The Director-General of the NYSC, Shuaibu Ibrahim, disclosed this during the 2022 NYSC annual management conference in Abuja.

Ibrahim blamed the poor state of affairs in the camps on the failure of some critical stakeholders to discharge their statutory responsibilities, especially in the states.

The Director General appealed to the Federal Government to support the establishment of the proposed NYSC Trust Fund to urgently address the situation.
