Petrol Laden Tanker Explodes in Anambra

A tanker laden with premium motor spirit exploded at the Upper Iweka junction of Onitsha in Anambra State.

The South East Zonal Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Major Eze, confirmed the incident today.

According to Eze, the number of casualties from the explosion cannot be confirmed, stressing that the situation has been brought under control.
