Ogun Government Takes Action Against Roadside Traders

Ogun State Government has warned traders against trading on streets and walkways across the State
The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Environment, Farouk Akintunde who gave the warning on Thursday cautioned traders on the dangers of street trading.

Akintunde stressed that the traders sometimes cause traffic bottleneck, thereby making life intolerable for commuters.

The SSA, however, disclosed that the Environmental Health Officers of the State has been mandated by the Governor Dapo Abiodun-led government to ensure compliance with environmental laws across the State.
