FG to Deliver Food Items to Affected Victims by Fire in Maiduguri

The Federal government has directed the immediate delivery of food and non-food items to victims affected by fire in the Muna El-Badawy Internally Displaced Persons, IDP, Camp in Maiduguri, the Borno State Capital.

Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development Sadiya Farouq who gave the directive on Sunday, sympathized with the government and people of the state over the fire incident which killed some people and destroyed shelters.

Recall, a fire incident on Saturday occurred in the Muna camp of the state which razed over 3,000 shelters in the camp and killed at least five persons.
