Edo Government to Prosecute Parents of Out-of-School Children

Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has said the government will begin the prosecution of parents and guardians of out-of-school children in the state.

Governor Obaseki disclosed this during the State Education Policy Town Hall meeting, held in Benin City.

He said it was part of measures to take all children off the streets and improve access to education.

The Governor, however, maintained that his administration is committed to ensuring that all children in the state have access to quality education.
