At least 20,000 children die from acute malnutrition

Ebonyi State Ministry of Health has announced that at least 20,000 children die annually from acute malnutrition in the State.

This was disclosed by the Nutrition Officer in the state Ministry of Health, Cyprian Ogbonna, during a meeting of the Advocacy Communication and Social Mobilization Core Group in Abakaliki, the state capital, on Monday.

Ogbonna called for more sensitization campaigns in the rural areas.
