The Federal Government has said that teachers across the country will begin to enjoy a new salary structure, as promised by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Sonny Echono, disclosed this during a symposium organized by the Ministry of Education, on Thursday.
Nwajiuba said the teachers will begin to enjoy the new salary structure from January 2022.
The symposium was part of activities to mark the 2021 World Teachers Day.
