Ikpeazu Orders Construction of Umuahia-Ikot Ekpene Road

Abia state Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has directed an immediate work on the Umuahia-Ikot Ekpene federal road in Umuahia, to alleviate the experience of road users.

A statement issued by the Commissioner for Information, John Kalu, revealed that the Governor had in the last few days, mandated the State Commissioner for Works, Bob Ogu, to assess the level of palliative work needed to be done on the road.

The statement added that an indigenous construction company was immediately mandated to commence work on the road on Wednesday after receiving report of the assessment.
