The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP in collaboration with ECOWAS and the UN is set to review regional policies to help curtail migration and protect migrants’ rights.
Speaking at a review meeting in Abuja, NAPTIP Director General, Fatima Waziri-Azi said there is need to scale up sensitization and enlightenment process as regards human trafficking.

Waziri- Azi added that the meeting is aimed to access the level of process and progress of tackling migration in the country.
Meanwhile, NAPTIP is also working with ECOWAS and International organizations to arrest human traffickers as well as help process the repatriation of trafficked Nigerians.
