United States President, Joe Biden, has nominated Nigerian-born Enoh Ebong as Director of the country’s Trade and Development Agency (USDTA).
The president had appointed Ebong, whose name was submitted to the U.S. Senate along with those of other nominees to the president’s cabinet, as Acting Director of the USDTA, back in February, this year.
Ebong’s appointment is a return to USTDA where she had served in a variety of roles, most recently as the Agency’s General Counsel, Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer.
USTDA links U.S. businesses to export opportunities by funding project preparation and partnership-building activities that develop sustainable infrastructure and foster economic growth in partner countries.
